Small park but decent. We enjoyed walking near Mono Lake and visiting Mammoth Lake. Would come back. Need to watch out for fires, though.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Driving through Nevada with nothing but desert around for many, many, many miles was a little creepy and almost discomforting. You don\u2019t want to break down or run out of gas there. For sure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Near the NV-CA border we came across the Ivanpah Solar Plant<\/a>. A few years ago I had seen it from an airplane, not knowing what it was. It was interesting to research and find out all about it. And now we even saw it on the ground!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
