This was Day 2 of the journey from St. George, UT to Verdi, NV. We spent most of the day on RT 50, the loneliest highway in the country. We drove over several mountain ranges and through long stretches of flatlands at high elevations. There was even a salt lake and a sand dune. In the area around Fallon we drove through some heavy rain. As if they wanted to prepare us for what\u2019s in store for us in Verdi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
