Went to White Sands the day after we arrived and before the work week started. That was the best thing we did. Would not have seen it otherwise. It really looks like snow!
Also stopped by the Missile Range. This is where JJ worked some thirty years ago and became friends with some wonderful people. Unfortunately, the Range was closed to visitors. We did not get to see it from the inside, neither could we get into the museum. Her wonderful friends, however, showed up one afternoon!!! So nice to meet them.
