Ingredients
- 240g sugar
- 250g butter
- 2 egg yolks
- 400g flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- pinch of salt
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 4-6 Granny Smith Apples
- Sugar, cinnamon, raisins
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 355F.
- Peel and core the apples. Cut them in to 1/8 and set aside.
- Combine butter, sugar, egg yolks, and vanilla. Mix until creamy.
- Add flour, salt, and baking powder. Mix until combined and still crumbly.
- Butter a 1/4 size baking dish.
- Take about 1/2 of the batter, knead with your hands and form a bottom layer on the baking dish.
- Place the apple pieces on to the baking sheet. Sprinkle with sugar, cinnamon, and raisins.
- Place the remaining crumbly dough on top of the apples for the Streusels.
- Bake for 35min or until golden brown.
Notes
Make sure all ingredients are at room temperature.
