Came highly recommended by fellow RVers.
This truly was one of the better State Parks. Quiet, spacious, and it felt safe. The people running the park are nice and friendly. Great opportunities for walking and bicycling. Lots of photo opportunities. I would think we will be back here.
The nearby Poverty Point Heritage Site was a little disappointing. Is it just a marketing trick to bring people there? Who knows.
Unfortunately, we had to run away for a few days, going back to Red Bay to have our AquaHot fixed. I better learn how to do all this by myself before the warranty period is over :).
